The Small Business Development Project 4 (SBDP 4), funded by bp and its partners in the Georgian Pipeline Company, is progressing.
Over three hundred people submitted business idea applications for the third grant competition targeting startups and existing entrepreneurs. Out of these, 203 promising ideas were selected, and their authors were invited to business plan writing training. Following this intensive training, 134 entrepreneurs submitted their business plans. Finally, 20 contestants were selected for funding. The chosen entrepreneurs have received the project funds and completed their grant asset purchases, having before fulfilled their co-funding obligations.
The selection process was challenging but many contestants noted that it was also rewarding. Thank you to all participants for their interest and active cooperation.
