Results of the third grant competition of Small Business Development Project 2

The third grant contest announced within the frames of the Small Business Development Project 2 came to end. The project is initiated and financed by the BP and its partners in Georgia Pipeline Company. The objective of the project is deepening positive relations between BP and communities along the WREP route by investing in communities that demonstrate commitment to provide positive contribution for sustainable improvement in communities and to maintain and enhance sustainability of social-economic development.

Professional training for the beginning beekeepers

The Small Business Development Project 2 envisages capacity building of the supported micro-entrepreneurs through providing diverse training sessions. Within the frames of this component the vocational courses were held for the beginner beekeepers in Patara Jikhaishi village of Khoni municipality on 2 and 3 June this year. The training courses were delivered by the Chairman of Georgian Beekeepers Association Mr. Temuri Gogoberidze, 15 people participated in total.

NonProfit Management Training Program becomes a joint certified program of CTC and Ilia State University

We are happy to inform that the Academic Council of Ilia State University approved the certified program - "Non-Profit Management" dveloped by the Centre for Training and Consultancy.

From now on program participants will be awarded joint certificae of CTC and Ilia State University.

The training program has been developed within the EWMI ACCESS project supported by USAID

Initiative of Non-formal Education Support

Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC) started a new project “Initiative of Non-formal Education” with financial support of Tbilisi City Hall. Project is implemented in close cooperation with Education, Sport and Youth Department.

Project aims to assist organizations working in non-formal sector and strengthen   managerial

competences of their leaders, to support accessibility of adult non-formal education programs, maintain quality development and contribute to raising organizational sustainability.

From September 2016, the new project “Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of Georgian Local Self-Governments in Improved Fiscal Discipline and Accounting Systems” took start. Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC) is a partner of project implementer American company Cardno. Project is ordered by Municipal Development Fund of Georgia and financed by World Bank.
